Day 1 — Medan to Bukit Lawang

Meet your driver at Kualanamu International Airport and travel around 4–5 hours to Bukit Lawang. Check in at your riverside accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening in the village.

Overnight in Bukit Lawang.

Day 2 — Jungle Trekking

Head into Gunung Leuser National Park with your local guide to explore the rainforest and look for Sumatran orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, tropical birds, and other wildlife.

After trekking, return to Bukit Lawang by traditional river rafting on the Bohorok River.

Overnight in Bukit Lawang.

Day 3 — Bukit Lawang to Berastagi

Travel through the highlands toward Berastagi, with stops at viewpoints and traditional villages along the way.

Visit the local fruit market and, if you choose, hike Mount Sibayak for views across the surrounding volcanic landscape.

Overnight in Berastagi.

Day 4 — Sipiso-Piso & Lake Toba

Continue toward Lake Toba with a stop at Sipiso-Piso Waterfall. From Parapat, take the ferry across Lake Toba to Samosir Island.

Spend the evening relaxing by the lake.

Day 5 — Batak Culture

Spend the day exploring Batak culture on Samosir Island. Visit Simanindo Village, traditional Batak houses, and the historic stone chairs in Ambarita.

Your guide will introduce you to the traditions and history of the Batak people along the way.

Overnight on Samosir Island.

Day 6 — Return to Medan

Take the ferry back to Parapat and continue by car to Medan. Depending on your flight schedule, you can stop at landmarks such as Maimun Palace and the Grand Mosque before heading to the airport. Explore Sumatra’s Wonders
